TRAPIDE Co., Ltd. Supports the Japan-Congo Exchange Project.

TRAPIDE Co., Ltd. is very pleased to be able to participate in the 2024 Cabinet Office Africa International Exchange Project. This project is an important step in deepening the relationship between Minakami Town and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and it promotes cultural and educational exchanges. A highlight of this initiative is the enrollment of Steve, a young Congolese professional basketball player, at the only high school in Minakami Town. Steve's presence brings a new perspective to the community and showcases the exceptional talent and potential of Congolese athletes.

A bridge through basketball.

Inspired by Steve's success, the local community and the Minakami Town men's basketball team are eager to strengthen their relationship with young people from Congo, particularly through the high school sports programs. This initiative aims to establish an exchange program where Congolese students can experience the educational environment in Minakami Town while receiving basketball training. Such partnerships are expected to offer new opportunities for skill development and personal growth for students from both countries, bringing significant benefits.

To support this partnership, Mr. Freddy Kankolongo Sissaka, the CEO of TRAPIDE Co., Ltd., and the Counselor of the Congolese Embassy delivered speeches to the participants at the Lifelong Learning Festival. They emphasized the important role that cultural exchange plays as a catalyst for mutual growth and discussed the benefits of connecting communities across borders. This collaborative approach aligns with TRAPIDE Co., Ltd.'s mission to foster sustainable partnerships that drive positive change.
